Developer Tools

Portalstrike offers developer two tools to enhance the gaming experience for players: Badges and Scores. If you would like to implement one or both of these API's make sure you check the "Request Badges or Scores" button when submitting a game.  Please feel free to email me at Christopher@portalstrike.com to notify me that you have made a request.  Due to the large volume of submissions we receive we only grant badges to the top games.

1. Badge API

The badge API allows you to provide badges to users who accomplish a certain task in your game.  In your games code you can choose the points in which to allocate badges to players. Each badge will have a point value you can set depending on their difficulty.  Users will receive badges instantly when your code is executed.

2. Score API

The score API allows users to submit their score at the end of a game and compare them with other players.  The score information will be displayed at the bottom of your game page.  Score games may also be selected to become "The contest of the week" where players compete to be in a raffle for a change to win cash prizes.
